Description

Scope of work includes the replacement of the dedicated Make Up Air unit (MUA-5) located on the roof above the shop. Specified unit has been selected however proposed alternates that can provide a lower costs or faster delivery time will be considered. Natural gas line for the MUA-5 is to be reused and adjusted as required for the new unit. Various Exhaust Fans are to be replaced including two on the roof as detailed on the drawings.

Base building structural engineer has been engaged to review the load requirements for the new selected MUA-5 and may provide further details on structural support. If required a detailed change order will be provided.
BMS Controls for the new unit will also be updated and base building contractor is to be carried.
Electrical updates will be required and are outlined on the drawings. The contractor shall carry a separate cash allowance of $5,000 for on site investigation and confirmation of power source for MUA-5. This is due to mislabeling on the breaker panel schedule and out of date record drawings.
Completion of project must be completed in the summer prior to school returning in the fall of 2023.
