The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for an oil and water separator custom fit.
A mandatory site visit will be held on June 16, 2022. The City representative will be present. This visit will be held on site at 1908, Chemin deuxième Sault, Saint-Joseph de Madawaska, NB and the visits will be by appointment, one company at a time. The latest revision and amendments of the Regulation 2014-93 of the Procurement Act (O.C.2014-273), apply to this tender.
The latest revision and amendments of the Regulations of the Crown Construction Contract Act, as amended, apply to this contract (Regulation 82-109).
A Bid Bond or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price or a Certified Cheque in the amount of 20% of the accepted tender price. Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated.
Sealed tenders indicating the name and address of the bidder on the envelope marked "OIL WATER SEPARATOR SYSTEM, TENDER CALL 2022-007, JUNE 30, 2022," will be received by the Municipality of Edmundston on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the Development Department, 2nd floor at City Hall, 7 Canada Road, Edmundston, NB, by mail or e-mail until 2:00 p.m. (local time).
Public opening of tenders will follow immediately. Due to the COVID-19 situation, public opening of tenders will be also on Facebook live on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ville.edmundston
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
