Description

Services Overview
Trained, licensed, skilled, competent, and supervised personnel are required for the services described in below. As guards are often the first point-of-contact, they must have the ability to effectively communicate with the AGLC staff and visitors, both orally and in writing, to carry out orders, and produce clear concise written reports that could be accepted as evidence in a court of law.
The AGLC’s work site is comprised of a total of approximately 1,200,000 square feet consisting of five (5) buildings and approximately 77 acres of land. The buildings are located at Deerfoot Atria, 3rd Floor, 6715 9 Street NE, Calgary; West Campus #300 18817 Stony Plain Road Edmonton; 2 Boudreau Road, 50 Corriveau Avenue and 30 Calder Place, St. Albert, Alberta.
2 Boudreau Road includes office space and warehousing occupied by AGLC staff and a third-party logistics firm contracted to the AGLC. 50 Corriveau Avenue includes office space and warehousing occupied by AGLC. 30 Calder Place includes office and warehouse space occupied solely by AGLC staff. Deerfoot Atria, in Calgary and West Campus Edmonton include office space. Basic site plans for 2 Boudreau, 30 Calder, 50 Corriveau and Calgary Deerfoot are attached under Appendix B. The AGLC may lease other premises for short term storage or production requirements but these facilities are not part of the scope of services of this RFP.
The personnel complement assigned to 50 Corriveau Avenue will also provide security services to 30 Calder Place.
