The University of New Brunswick is currently accepting proposals for Security Services for its Saint John campus. It is the universities intention to enter into agreement with only one legal entity. The term of the agreement is for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend the agreement for two (2) one-year periods.

COMMUNICATION:
All questions and communication regarding this opportunity are to be submitted to UNB's Procurement Services Department by emailing procure@unb.ca. All questions are to be submitted prior to 2:00PM AST September 9, 2021.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be an optional site visit scheduled for Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 from 2:00PM-3:00PM AST at the G. Forbes Elliot Athletic Centre, Room 108.

PERFORMANCE BOND:
The successful proponent shall be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of $18,000 in favor of the University of New Brunswick per the attached RFP Document.

INSURANCE:
General Liability & Automotive Insurance of no less than $2,000,000.00 is required per RFP Document.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
Proposals must be submitted through UNB's online Bonfire portal per the attached "Bonfire Instructions" document.

All potential Security officers must be interviewed and approved by the Director of Environmental Health, Safety & Security before being assigned to the Campus among other criteria listed in this Request for Proposal.

This Request for Proposal is subject to the GNB Procurement Act & Regulations as well as the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
