NRFP # 210630 - Fraser Valley Office Space

This Request for Proposals is an invitation by British Columbia Assessment Authority ("BC Assessment") to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for Fraser Valley Office Space requirements as further described in Appendix C and elsewhere in this RFP.

BC Assessment is interested in receiving Proposals from Proponents offering existing or developable professional office space to amalgamate its Fraser Valley staff currently located in Abbotsford and Surrey, BC. The existing leases for these offices are set to expire September 30, 2022.

The purpose of this RFP is to select space, which will provide the best overall location, lease terms, functional office space and environmental objectives for BC Assessment. It is anticipated that approximately 14,000 to 17,000 square feet of useable area will be necessary to accommodate BC Assessment's Fraser Valley staff.

BC Assessment anticipates entering into a 10-year lease with one 5-year option to renew. BC Assessment prefers to enter into negotiations directly with the landlord as opposed to a sub-lease situation. Sub-landlords are encouraged to work with their landlord to submit a Proposal.
