RFP 16719 - Strategic Energy Management Cohort Advisors - Consulting Service

This Request for Proposals is issued by BC Hydro to obtain Proposals from parties wishing to provide the following Services to BC Hydro:

· Providing Energy Advisors for the BC Hydro Strategic Energy Management (SEM) program
· Support, train, and advise industrial customers by identifying, investigating, and implementing ways to save money on energy costs within a cohort model
· Support, train, and advise industrial customers to continue their established Strategic Energy Management Plans through a cohort Alumni model

BC Hydro is seeking Proponent(s) with a team of qualified Energy Advisors that have experience in one or more of the following industrial customer sectors:

i. Manufacturing;
ii. Food and Beverage;
iii. Water/wastewater;
iv. Solid wood and cement;
v. Mining, oil and gas;
vi. Agriculture; and
vii. Other industrial customers not included in the above such as pulp and paper, chemicals, transportation and government.

Based on their industrial customer sector experience and capacity, Proponent(s) have the option to submit a proposal to provide one or both of the following models:

(1) Energy Advisors for Cohort, and/or (2) Cohort Alumni

It is intended that the Contract(s) will be awarded for an initial three (3) year term commencing in January or February 2022.

The Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (three) years, which may be extended for up to (three) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (six) years.

This procurement may involve negotiation.
