Description

Island Health has been embarking on an integrated and island wide Electronic Health Record (EHR) Solution since 2006. The Cerner clinical information system has been implemented across a number of care venues. Computerized provider order entry (CPOE) with associated clinical decision support (CDS) has been active at Island Health since 2013.

Island Health is embarking on a multisite, multi-venue, phased activation of CPOE and CDS over the next 4 years. In order to facilitate this, electronically used order sets need to be reconciled with number of paper order sets to define Island Health standards.

Island Health is seeking an IHealth Physician Executive Consultant for CPOE and Management for a term commencing of November 1, 2021 for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
