21-1671 - The Seasonal Lease of Mechanical Sweepers

1) This RFP is open to all interested Suppliers.
2) The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires a supplier capable of providing leased mechanical sweepers to support City operations on a seasonal basis. The City requires up to twenty-four (24) mechanical sweepers to be leased on a seasonal basis to assist with City operations during the annual Spring Cleanup of City roads and neighborhoods. The Supplier will be responsible for coordinating with The City to arrange delivery, inspection and pick up of Units to ensure City operations are not impacted.
3) This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
1) Unless specified otherwise elsewhere in the Information Table under Agreement(s), Terms, Renewal and Proof of Concept (PoC), It is The City’s intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The City intends to enter into up to one (1) Agreement for the provision of the Deliverables. The Agreement will be for a term of two (2) years. The Agreements may be renewed for two (2) additional two (2) year terms, not to exceed a maximum of six (6) years. The Agreement will not include a PoC. .
