RFPQ 21-22-1250 - Prime Consultant Services

The intention of this RFPQ is to retain qualified and experienced architect-led Prime Consultants to provide professional design, contract administration and other related services to MacEwan University, as identified over the next three (3) years by MacEwan University, designed and completed in the required timeframes.

MacEwan University will evaluate, in accordance with the qualification criteria outlined in Section 7 of this RFPQ, all Responses complying with the requirements of this RFPQ with the intention of selecting up to five (5) Respondents that MacEwan University deems best able to offer Prime Consultant services to meet MacEwan University’s needs on numerous design and construction projects over the next three (3) years.

The intent of this RFPQ is to retain the professional services of a Prime Consultant Architect. Other Subconsultants as required, based on the scope of the individual projects will be named to the project team from the University’s pre-qualified consultant list. The Prime Consultant Architect may recommend a Sub-consultant that is not on the University’s pre-qualified list but must obtain University approval prior to engagement. It is expected that the Prime Consultant Architect will subsequently enter into a services agreement directly with the Sub-consultant.

MacEwan University expects to enter into a Professional Services Agreement, as presented in Section E of this RFPQ, for a term of three (3) years commencing on November 1, 2021, with an option to renew for a further term of three (3) years.

MacEwan may use the services of other consultants at its discretion during the contract period.
