IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS REGARDING OFFER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers are required to submit offers electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject Request for Standing Offer. This service allows suppliers to submit offers electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) offers will not be accepted for the subject Request for Standing Offer.

This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) involves the provision and delivery of, on an as and when ordered basis, various household electrical appliances for Correctional Service Canada (CSC).

Identified user: Correctional Service Canada, various institutions, see Annex C for all delivery addresses.

Period of Standing Offer: The Standing Offer will be from date of issuance for a period of two (2) years with the right to exercise the option to extend for a one (1) year period under the same terms and conditions.

The suppliers will be selected following an evaluation based on financial and technical criteria specified in this RFSO.

All inquiries and other communication regarding this RFSO must be sent, in writing, only to the contracting authority named in this RFSO.

This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in their official languages.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
