Description

As the Main Construction Manager (MCM) for the Giant Mine Remediation Project (GMRP), Parsons Inc. (Parsons) is requesting competitive bids for the purpose of selecting the best value firm to provide all services associated with this solicitation for Giant Mine, located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The Request for Proposal (RFP) price must include the cost for all labour, supervision, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the work outlined in this RFP document and according to the attachments defined in this document.

Attendees of the Site Visit can attend the Pre-B id conference on site and it will be streamed virtually to those who choose not to attend the optional Site Visit. Bidders must register to Procurement.GMRP.Parsons@parsons.com by February 20, 2023 for the pre-bid conference to confirm attendance for the conference and/or the site visit and provide the name(s) of the person(s)1who will attend. Bidders who do not send a representative to the mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Conference will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be considered non-compliant2. Bidders who choose not to send a representative to optional Site Visit will not be given an alternative appointment. Any clarifications or changes to the solicitation, that result from the pre-bid conference and site visit, will be included as an amendment to this solicitation.

Bidders will complete Attachment A Basis of Payment and include it with the financial portion of their bid submission. The BOP will be evaluated as the financial portion of the bid submission.All prices must be in Canadian funds, FOB Giant Mine, Yellowknife. All items discussed in the bid are assumed to be included in the quoted firm unit, lot prices or the appropriate percentage markups. Bidders must provide bids as per unit of issue requested as well as total pricing.Please note that Parsons reserves the right to dismiss bids falling outside twenty-five percent (25%) of the median bid pricing received.
