Description:
York is seeking to engage a supplier to supply, deliver, and install tents to accommodate various aspects of York’s convocation ceremonies at the Keele and Glendon campuses. The objectives of this RFP include:
• Deliver the most appropriate level of product and service quality;
• Include Engineer stamped drawings and final sign-off letters;
• Include on-site staff to open, close and service all tents and related equipment for each event day;
• Provide pricing to supply heating for Keele location for October ceremonies.
• Include general tent lights and ceiling fans for Keele location only (exit signs and fire extinguishers are provided by venue)
• Include general tent lights, illuminated exit signs, ceiling fans and fire extinguishers as required at the Glendon location;
• Include flooring and carpeting for Glendon only; and
• Include City of Toronto building permit for Glendon Campus only.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Delivery Date:
Service implemented by a tentative date of June 1, 2018
Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for thirty-six (36) months, with two (2) optional twenty-four (24) month extensions.

York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
