Description:
OsgoodePD is looking for a qualified caterer for a variety of events including, but not limited to:

Master of Laws (“LLM”) Programs;
Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) Programs,
Special Events/Receptions, and
External Room Bookings
Rental Events.

The majority of the events will be hosted at OsgoodePD’s downtown location (1 Dundas Street West, Suite 26th Floor, 2602) however; some events will be offsite at high profile locations.
It is anticipated that the Selected Proponent will:

Provide necessary equipment where no working appliances or kitchen facilities are available (including but not limited to chaffing dishes);
Provide networking information to associated services such as best rental value, staff, décor and equipment;
Provide the response time required for each catering request from the initial contact regarding an event to delivery; and
Be responsible for the arrangement of the rental of china, flatware, stemware, tables and chairs and other items as requested.

Proponents shall detail their approach to the events, including but not limited to:

Staffing;
Equipment;
Delivery and pick up processes; and
Quality of final product delivered.

York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

Delivery Date:
Service implemented by a tentative date of February 15, 2022

Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for thirty-six (36) months, with two (2) optional twenty-four (24) month extensions; for a potential Term of eighty-four(84) months.

Negotiation:
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
