The University of Waterloo invites qualified companies to submit Proposals for a Training and Event Registration Management System, in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The University of Waterloo intends to select one Successful Respondent that meets or exceeds the Requirements identified in this RFP.
The new University of Waterloo Training and Event Registration System will be a non-fee based registration system for managing non-credit training and events. The system will provide reporting capabilities. The new system solution is not expected to deliver online learning management content but instead to provide a way to interface registration to the existing classroom learning, campus events/workshops and the current Learning Management System (D2L LEARN).
The future Training and Event Registration Management System will support approximately 3,000 - 10,000 unique registrants/participants annually. The number of system administrators (managing workshops/events/training) will include 15 - 60 administrators, with additional instructors with read-only access to class lists and attendance. The training and event opportunities to be administered annually, such as courses, workshops and events, will include from 350 - 800 unique offerings.
