University of Waterloo Finance is the central financial authority within the University of Waterloo, responsible for establishing appropriate financial procedures, processes and institutional tools to be utilized by University departments in their day-to-day operations.
At this time the University of Waterloo is looking to enter into an agreement for Armoured Car Services whereby the Successful Respondent will provide these services based on a set schedule, that is able to be amended as needed, for the pickup and delivery of University of Waterloo bank deposits to its financial services/banking institution. Included with these services would be the need to accommodate change fund replenishments for select campus locations.
The University of Waterloo currently operates five deposit pickup locations across two campuses (Waterloo, Kitchener), with pickup schedules at each location ranging from once per month to each business day. These services could be expanded to 3 campuses (adding in Cambridge) and as many as 10 locations with varying pickup schedules (dates and time windows), depending on the continued use and popularity of cash and cheques as payment options within various University of Waterloo departments, post COVID-19 pandemic.
