Description

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the University to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of a spectrofluorometer, including installation and training.

This equipment will be essential in a wide range of light-based spectroscopy on materials varying from thin films, liquids to nanoparticles. The wavelength of the light used covers the range of UV to 1700 nm (Near IR-NIR). The light can be generated from a high intensity lamp or various lasers/high intensity LEDs. The data is taken, plotted, and analysized (in most part) automatically, after the user places the sample in the proper location and sets the mode of the data acquisition.
