Background
The University of Ottawa’s (uO) Facilities department comprises five (5) departments: Business Management, Planning & Asset Management, Construction, Operations, and Integrated Facilities Management. One of Facilities’ core businesses is planning, executing, and delivering capital projects ranging in value between $10,000 and $150 million.
In a typical calendar year, Facilities manages a capital backlog having more than 400 projects/opportunities/requests and executes between 100 and 200 capital projects concurrently, having a combined value more than $50 million. In addition, the Facilities department is implementing a Major Project Office which will have the mandate to plan, execute and deliver complex projects each valued more than $50 million.

Phase 1 – Project Delivery Manual and Process framework review.
Phase 2 - Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software procurement.
Phase 3 - Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software implementation and support.
