Description

The University of Ottawa is sekking to prequalify electrical contractors to act as General Contractors to perform a relamping project of all flourescent 4 foot lamps across campus to T8 LED lamps which will be provided by the University. Services include the replacement of various incompatible ballasts, broken lenses and any broken sockets. The total amount of lamps is 80,000 and the work is to begin in July 2018 and be complete by the end of March 2019 per bid documents. Proposals are due before 3:00:00 p.m. on Thursday June 7, 2018 at 139 Louis-Pasteur in Room 274. The top 3-5 contractors will be awarded prequalification and will be asked to bid on the work as part of a CCDC2 lump sum bid by the end of June.
