Description

The University of Ottawa is seeking to preselect two Fire Pumps and their associated equipment for a backflow prevention project on the downtown Campus. The two fire pumps will go into Montpetit Hall and Marion Hall. The winning product and price will be included as a cash allowance in the future Request for Tender to be issued to Mechanical/General Contractors. The winning Contractor will then issue a purchase order to the firm with the selected Fire Pumps. IN thje meantime the University of Ottawa will issue a Letter of Intent to the winning Fire Pump provider, committing their product to the project.
There is no scheduled bidder's briefing and proposals are to be sent via email to
prs-proc@uottawa.ca before 3:00:00 on Tuesay May 12, 2020. Product selection will be completed by Tuesday May 19, 2020, with a Letter of Intent issued that week. Product lead times must be a maximum of six weeks.
