UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA – Advance Contract Award Notice # 2018017-ACAN – Strategic and Operational Support for Centre for Continuing Education growth strategy.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to post the University of Ottawa’s (uOttawa) intention to enter into contractual arrangements with Mr. Roger Farley to provide the services identified in the requirements noted below.
This ACAN provides prospective service providers the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying all requirements set out in this Advance Contract Award Notice by way of submitting a Statement of Capabilities on or before the posting end date.
SCOPE OF WORK FOR PROPOSED SERVICE PROVIDER
The Director of the Universiy of Ottawa Centre for Continuing Education (uOttawa-CCE) and the Director of the University of Ottawa Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute wish to jointly hire the services of Mr. Roger Farley to complete ongoing international agreements and to finalize the implementation of the federal government-funded Court Challenges Program.
More specifically, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Finalizing ongoing negociations with Chinese universities to provide customized professional development programs in Ottawa, specifically designed for Chinese public servants for the Summer 2018.
2. Finalize the implementation of the $25 million government-funded Canadian Courts Challenge Program that was awarded to the University of Ottawa:
If no other supplier submits, on or before the closing date, a statement of capabilities meeting all requirements set out in the Advance Contract Award Notice, a contract will be awarded to the current proposed supplier.
