The University of Ottawa has identified “A rich and inspiring student experience” as goal #1 of the Destination 2020 strategic plan. Sport, recreation and fitness play a key role in this goal, with more than 17,000 students using sport facilities each month - be they high performance athletes, intramural, recreational or fitness participants.

Working with private sector organizations to grow revenue and further enhance a rich and diverse student experience through sport is a key objective of the University’s Defy the Conventional Campaign.

The success of this initiative requires a continuity of The Wagstaff Group services in order to continue the ongoing discussions being held with private sector organizations and to close on naming partnership agreements in 2017-18.
