1.1 - Statement of Requirements
                The objective of this proposal is to purchase an integrated automated management software to be used by Core Facilities across                 the University of Ottawa.  The University’s expectation of the proponent solution is to achieve automatization and standardization                 of processes that will offer a simplified and consistent platform across Core Facilities, benefiting users and management of a                 standardization systems that improves upon financial reliability, transparency and accountability.
 
General Description:
 
                The chosen Core Facility Management Software should have the flexibility to meet the requirements for a diverse group of core                 facilities at the University of Ottawa. The management system will encompass the basic functionalities required:
 
                Scheduling: online booking for services & equipment and project management
                Inventory: Equipment and Room maintenance
                Reporting Core Facility Activities and Finance
                Billing
                Invoicing
                Ease of use & customer support post implementation                     
            
The Appendix A Technica; specifications contained in this RFP are the mandatory minimum requirements for the Core Facility Management Software.
