This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by the University to prospective Architectural companies (Proponents) to submit proposals for the provision of professional services for a project at its Faculty of Medicine, Alta Vista Campus at 451 Smyth Road.
The overall purpose of the project is to retain an Architectural firm, who can perform full spectrum of professional services for the site Feasibility Study. The study will incorporate a variety of disciplines and reports, that will be contained in one document that will help facilitate the next phase of the project (i.e. Detailed programming and indicative design). This is expected to require a qualified multi-disciplinary team, specializing in Architectural, Structural, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection Engineering services.
The investigation and feasibility study should be completed within 16 weeks of project acceptance. There may be a need to expedite the feasibility study and functional program as there may be an infrastructure stimulus package that is released by the Federal government.
There is no planned Bidder's Briefing. Proposals are due electronically in MERX before 3:00PM, May 19, 2020.
