Description of Procurement
The University is conducting a Request for Proposals for roofing contractor services for the reroofing of the Architecture Building located at 325 Church Street, Toronto and Eric Palin Hall (EPH) located at 87 Gerrard Street, Toronto, as further described in Appendix B.
The University intends to execute a Stipulated Price Contract, CCDC 2 - 2020, as amended by the University’s Supplementary Conditions provided in Appendix E.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Minimum Passing Score
The Minimum Passing Score for Stage 2: Technical is 21 Points out of 35 Points.

Contract Details

The term of the Final Agreement is approximately twelve (12) months or the completion of the project, whichever is longer, followed by the warranty period. The substantial completion of the project is expected to be on or before December 2024.

The University will base its selection of qualified suppliers on the following criteria:

To gain a better understanding of the existing site conditions and constraints, all Proponents are requested to attend a MANDATORY site visit, scheduled for the following date. The University encourages Proponents to bring any subtrades or subcontractors that would benefit from the site visit.

Site Visit Date: Tuesday July 9, 2024, at 1:00PM EDT
Site Visit Registration date: On or before Monday July 8, 2024 at 5:00PM EDT

To register for Site Visit, please email bids@torontomu.ca by referencing the RFP and including the name, cell number and email address of the individual(s) attending.
For clarity, registration is not required to attend the Site Visit; however, it does assist us in our planning.

Please note that the Site Visit is expected to be no more than 1 hour in length.
Personal Protective Equipment (Hard Hat, Safety Vest & Steel Toe Shoe) is required to participate in the Site Visit.
The Site Visit shall begin at the lobby of the Victoria Building (VIC) located at 285 Victoria Street, Toronto.
