McMaster University invites proposals from experienced technology and healthcare solution providers for the "full lifecycle development" of the enhanced Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM) application in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.
The redesigned GMFM App+ will have significantly enhanced capabilities, integrating modern technology, and making it a more powerful and versatile tool with an emphasis on current user needs, user experience, and data security. A key shortcoming to be addressed in the redesign is the ability to have multiple users with efficient and secure data sharing solutions within organizations.
This redesign project will include the following elements: Platform Development (cross-platform compatibility, user interface and experience, user authentication), Data Security (encryption and security protocols, compliance with data protection regulations), Reporting Dashboard (dashboard development, Wi-Fi-based syncing, and integration with REDCap), Scalability and Future Proofing (common platform to host additional measures in future, scalable architecture, AI integration potential), Quality Assurance and Testing (rigorous testing, feedback integration), Documentation and Training, Maintenance and Support Provisions.
A dedicated in-house project manager employed by the successful Proponent will be responsible for leading the project. They will oversee the re-design development, building and deployment, as well as timely completion of deliverables.
