Description

The University of Waterloo is requesting proposals for the purchase of a Multifunctional Machine Tool with Gear Machining, Turning, and Milling Capabilities capable of producing complex parts with gear features and high accuracy in a single setup. The machine will be part of a digital manufacturing lab, and thus, must have extensive connectivity capabilities for integration and development of highly realistic and detailed Digital Twins (DTs) of the machine, tool, workpiece, and process.
