Description

All Proponents must have obtained the RFP from www.Merx.com (MERX®). Failure to have obtained the RFP from MERX®. will result in disqualification.

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for Snow Removal and Salting Services such that the successful proponent will have ability to provide all labor, materials, and equipment that are required to provide complete and continuous snow removal of parking lots, walkways, and exterior sidewalks, on an as needed basis. All work shall comply with health and safety requirements throughout the duration of the term.

The goal is maintaining a high level of safety at Main Campus (McMaster University) and David Braley Health Science Centre (DBHSC), and parking lot at 22 Bay St S. while minimizing the potential risk of failure, reducing number of accidents, minimizing costs and meeting environmental regulations.

Event Note

A non-Mandatory Proponents' Site Visit will be held at DBHSC on July 11th ,2024 at 9 AM EST, another site visit will be help at on the same day at 11:00 EST on Campus Services Building #31. The purpose is to view the facilities and clarify the specifications and identifying the Services requested in this RFP. A question-and-answer period will follow but no minutes will be taken. Note: Proponents that do not attend the non-Mandatory Proponents' Site Visit will still qualify to submit a Proposal. Proponents are encouraged to provide confirmation of attendance electronically through the Vendor Discussions tab under the Messages section within the Bonfire project web portal,

1. All Proponents must have obtained the RFP from www.Merx.com (MERX®). Failure to have obtained the RFP from MERX®. will result in disqualification.

Proposals must be submitted through McMaster University’s online Bonfire portal at:
https://mcmaster.bonfirehub.ca/portal/?tab=openOpportunities
Submissions by other methods will not be accepted.
Minimum system requirements are Internet Explorer 8/9/10+, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. Javascript must be enabled.
Proponents should contact Bonfire at Support@GoBonfire.com for technical questions related to submissions, or visit Bonfire’s help forum at https://bonfirehub.zendesk.com/hc.
Proposals must be uploaded and finalized on or before the Submission Deadline set out in the RFP Timetable.
Uploading large documents may take significant time, depending on file size and internet connection speed. It is strongly recommended that proponents allow sufficient time of at least one (1) hour before the Submission Deadline to upload documents and finalize their submissions.
Proponents will receive an email confirmation receipt with a unique confirmation number upon finalizing their submissions.

The maximum upload file size is 1000 MB.
