Description

McMaster University seeks to retain an architectural firm ("Architect") to conduct a feasibility study for a new Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Engineering facility on its Main Campus at 1280 Main Street West, Hamilton, Ontario. The successful proponent should possess expertise in the higher education sector, with extensive knowledge and experience in university academic and research building design and construction
The anticipated start date of the contract is August 2024 and will continue until project completion in early 2025. Please note that the timeline is subject to change at McMaster University's sole discretion.

All Proponents must have obtained the RFP from www.Merx.com (MERX®). Failure to have obtained the RFP from MERX®. will result in disqualification.
Proposals must be submitted through McMaster University’s online Bonfire portal at:
at https://mcmaster.bonfirehub.ca/projects Proposals by other methods will not be accepted.

Minimum system requirements are Internet Explorer 8/9/10+, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Javascript must be enabled.

In order to submit & finalize, Proponents must upload all required documents as noted under the Requested Information section within the Bonfire project web portal. Please note the type and number of files allowed. The maximum upload file size is 1000 MB. Please do not embed any documents within your uploaded files, as they will not be accessible or evaluated. Proponents will receive an email confirmation receipt with a unique confirmation number upon finalizing their submissions.
It is strongly recommended that Proponents give themselves sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before the Close Date to begin the uploading process and finalize their submissions. It will be at the Proponent’s sole risk to ensure submission on-time submission. There is NO extension to the submission deadline unless notified through an addendum. McMaster University does not take responsibility for any technical issues that occur with connectivity or the Bonfire web portal. Submissions received by any other means will not be accepted.
