ACAN 019-FE03 - Technical Embroidery Machine

GBC requires a technical embroidery machine, which uses a combination of F-Head for standard embroidery and a K-Head for loop, moss or chain stitch.  K-Head is equipped with automatic needle height adjustment, automatic thread trimming and pneumatic color change (6 thread colors) to facilitate moss embroidery. With only one thread, it can create voluminous and soft surfaces. 
 
In combination with conductive material, this special embroidery head is ideal for producing sensors or similar devices that are required for smart or medical textiles. Moss embroidery has increasingly been used as a method of collecting biomedical signals from patients.  Its versatility and use for eclectic signal types and biometrics has further inspired interest in the technology. 
 
The F-Head is used for decorative embroidery to make stitches like the double lock stitch or the satin stitch.  More functional applications can be created with unconventional threads like conductive yarn. The F and K heads are controlled by several servo motors.  The motors are controlled via the T8-2 control unit, which allows unique designs by adjusting the head settings.  Design settings can be saved in the .Z00 code.
