17-043 OCDSB - Interior and Exterior Building Rehabilitation

This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to General Contractors to submit unit rate pricing for the provision of interior and exterior building rehabilitation services on an “as and when required” standing agreement basis. The District estimates that approximately $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 of work could be generated annually through this Standing Agreement. For additional information, refer to Appendix D – ITT Particulars (the “Deliverables).
 
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving over 70,000 students. Our students are based out of 147 schools - 116 elementary including two special education sites, 26 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate.
 
 It is the District’s intention to enter into the Form of Agreement based on that attached as Appendix A to the ITT with the four (4) highest ranked legal entities. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed on or around 01 March 2017.  The contract shall commence upon award and shall terminate 28 February 2018.  The District may extend this contract for a further two (2) one-year terms by mutual agreement with the Contractor two (2) months prior to the termination of the existing contract.
