Description

This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) is an invitation by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (the “District”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for the provision of Geotechnical Surveys, as further described in Appendix D – ITT Particulars (the “Deliverables).

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario serving over 70,000 students within a 2,760 square kilometre area known as the city of Ottawa. We are the seventh largest board by school population in the province of Ontario. Our students are based out of 147 schools - 116 elementary including two special education sites, 26 secondary including the Adult High School, and 5 secondary alternate.

It is the District’s intention to enter into the Form of Agreement based on that attached as Appendix A to the ITT with only one (1) legal entity. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed on or around 20 October 2017. The contract shall commence 1 November 2017 and shall terminate 30 October 2018. The District may extend this contract for a further two (2) one-year terms by mutual agreement with the Contractor two (2) months prior to the termination of the existing contract.

Submission package shall be sealed and prominently marked to include the following information:
(a)          “Package One”
(b)          ITT title and number (see ITT cover page)
(c)           full legal name and return address of the bidder
(d)          submission deadline date
