Description

The purpose of this Feasibility Study is to determine the best solution for supplying the entire Wahta Mohawks First Nation with potable water in an effective and reliable manner to meet the community’s current and 20-year water needs, while complying with current Federal and Provincial Guidelines and Regulations. The Feasibility Study will provide cost estimates and direction for the funded communal water project.
The feasibility study will summarize background information, evaluate each available water source, the treatment options while taking into account current and future water servicing needs and consider viable fire protection alternatives. The feasibility study should also assess possible cost effective short-term water treatment solutions that would result in an improved security of the potable water treatment.
The Feasibility Study will require the Consultant to develop a Work Plan to resolve the DNC at the Band Office.

The submission must be presented in a two envelope system whereby the fee for the services (financial proposal) is sealed in one envelope. The fee envelope will be opened after the review and evaluation of the technical proposal envelope and its contents, of those proposals passing the minimum technical score of 65%.
Six (6) copies of your proposal and one electronic copy of the technical proposal (on USB) must be delivered to the following address before 3:00 pm EST on January 22nd, 2019:
