OLG and iGO are investigating opportunities for a Province Wide System (PWS) to standardize and modernize AML record keeping, player monitoring, and reporting across online and Land Based Gaming Sites in Ontario. Many transactions in casinos and slot facilities are not account-based, so it is important that the PWS is able to accurately capture transactions and all required information in real time or near-real time. Transactions will be captured by sites and/or Gaming Site Operators, and transmitted to OLG and iGO respectively for consolidation, review, and reporting (both internal and external). The system is expected to allow OLG and iGO to batch and submit reports directly to FINTRAC and allow for analysis or exporting capabilities to meet OLG’s and iGO’s other legislative requirements with regards to analysis and ongoing monitoring of business relationships.
