Project Background
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is charged with regulating a large, complex, and dynamic industry. It relies heavily on information and information technology to manage its processes, make regulatory decisions, stay on top of the energy market in Ontario, and disseminate information about the energy market to all its stakeholders - the Ministry of Energy, market participants, consumers and interested parties such as special interest groups.
Every year the OEB purchase 1/3 of its laptop inventory to be upgraded. Laptops that are no longer under warranty will be upgraded. Laptops that are no longer under warranty will go into surplus after the upgrade. The OEB is planning to replace 1/3 of our current laptop inventory now.
Objectives
The OEB is looking to purchase sixty (60) laptops with the following specifications:
• HP Elite x360 1040 G9 (Part Number: 6E5K6UT#ABA), Notebook - WUXGA - 1920 x 1200 - Intel Core i7 12th Gen i7-1265U Deca-core (10 Core) - 16 GB Total RAM - 512 GB, SSD - Windows 11 Pro - Intel Iris Xe Graphics - In-plane Switching (IPS) Technology - English Keyboard - IEEE 802.11ax Wireless LAN Standard
All units must be delivered to the OEB Office (2300 Younge Street, Suite 2600, M4P 1E4) on or before February 28, 2023.
Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this tender is to find a vendor who can provide the OEB with sixty (60) laptops at the best price and best delivery date depending on how many can be delivered by February 28, 2023.
Please indicate the number of laptops which can be provided by February 28, 2023.
Vendors will be required to organize delivery of equipment to 2300 Yonge Street, Suite 2600, M4P 1E4.
