TENDER NOTICE for
St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School
Music Room and Partial Theatre Renovations
North Bay, Ontario

The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board (NPSCDSB) wishes to provide notice of the current tendering of the St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary Music Room and Partial Theatre Interior Renovations project.

Base Bid Work: Renovation work including but not necessarily limited to the following:

Renovation to existing Music Room, including demolition and removal work, concrete slab replacement, interior partitions, doors and frames c/w hardware, interior screens, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, millwork, fire separations, updates to audio video systems, AV low voltage cabling, and associated mechanical/electrical work.
Renovations to existing Theatre and Stage including demolition and removals work, theatre rigging safety updates, theatre performance lighting fixture supply/install/program, curtain replacement, miscellaneous upgrades, lockable panel for existing ladder and associated electrical.
Replacement of Mechanical Units serving the Theatre and associated electrical.

ADD-ON PRICE Work: Renovation work including but not necessarily limited to the following:

Add-On Price No. 1: Renovation of existing EH Co-op Hall, Classroom E118 to accommodate a Universal Washroom, Student Council Room , SJSH Artifact Display including demolition and removal work, concrete slab replacement, interior partitions, doors and frames c/w hardware, interior screens, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, millwork, fire separation and associated mechanical / electrical work.
Add-On Price No. 2: Remove two static linesets and replace with motorized linesets along with hoist controller and associated lighting power raceway cable management as specified under section 11 61 33 sub-section 2.3 and 2.5.

Bid Documents will be available in electronic .pdf format on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 after 4:00 pm. General Contractors and major Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors may obtain Bid Documents electronically in .PDF format by submitting an e-mail request addressed to tenders@leaainc.com. E-mail shall include all Contractor contact information and indicate ‘SJSH Renovations – Request for Tender Documents’ in the subject line.

A non-mandatory bidder’s briefing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. local time. Attendees shall meet at the main entrance of St. Joseph Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School, as located at 675 O’Brien Street, North Bay.

To be considered, offers must be submitted on official tender forms and will be received by the Owner, Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board, 1000 High Street, North Bay, Ontario, P1B 6S6, attention: Mr. Dan Russo, Senior Manager of Plant Services, prior to the closing date and time as per the requirements of the Bid Documents.

Submissions received after the closing deadline will not be accepted. Fax or e-mail submissions will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, and/or cancel or withdraw this request for any reason without liability for any costs or damages incurred by respondents including without limitation, any expenses incurred in the preparation of the submission.
