Description

The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board wishes to provide notice of the current tendering of the Mother St. Bride Catholic Elementary School Daycare Renovation project.

The scope of work for the project is as follows:

Demolition work as required to suit new work, including hazardous materials removal and disposal.
New Work including:
1. Site Work, including hard and soft surfaces, planting and fencing.
2. Construction of all interior architectural components including patching of poured concrete floor slabs, partitions c/w insulation, wall finishes, ceiling framing and finishes, floor finishes, wall base, door frames, doors and associated hardware, millwork, toilet accessories, miscellaneous specialties and fire separations.
3. Miscellaneous structural work including poured concrete floor slabs, infill masonry block walls and lintels.
4. Construction of all exterior work including aluminum door and frame, aluminum windows, metal cladding, exterior louvres, insulation and modifications to the exterior building envelope as required to suit mechanical components.
5. Mechanical/Electrical work including disconnection/removal of all obsolete components, supply and installation of HVAC system, plumbing, plumbing fixtures, power, lighting, intercom system and life safety devices.

General Contractors and major Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors may obtain Bid Documents electronically in .PDF format by submitting an e-mail request addressed to tenders@leaainc.com. E-mail shall include all Contractor contact information and indicate ‘MSB Daycare Renovation – Request for Tender Documents’ in the subject line.

A non-mandatory bidder’s briefing is scheduled for Monday, May 7th, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. local time. Attendees shall meet at the main entrance of Mother St. Bride Catholic Elementary School located at 414 Second Avenue West in North Bay.

To be considered, offers must be submitted on official tender forms and will be received by the Owner, the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board, 1000 High Street, North Bay, Ontario, P1B 6S6, attention: Mr. Dan Russo, Manager of Plant Services and Health and Safety, prior to the closing date and identified in the Bid Documents.

Submissions received after the closing deadline will not be accepted. Fax or e-mail submissions will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, and/or cancel or withdraw this request for any reason without liability for any costs or damages incurred by respondents including without limitation, any expenses incurred in the preparation of the submission.
