Request for prequalification (RFPQ) for Maintenance, Repairs and Bi-annual Certification of Lift Truck Equipment.
The Museum is seeking Proposals from potential firms who have technical experience in providing Maintenance, Repairs and Bi-annual Certification of Lift Truck Equipment in Gatineau, QC and Ottawa, ON, Canada. This is a one-step two-envelope submission process (Technical and Financial) to select the lowest compliant Proponent who may then be selected on the Source List (SL) with the Museum.
The objective of this RFPQ is to prequalify one (1) Contractor who will be placed on an SL to provide the services described in the procurement documents on an “as and when required” basis for a period of one (1) year from October 1st, 2021 to September 30th, 2022.
If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and the Museum, this SL may be extended for up to two (2) additional one-year periods with the same terms and conditions.
To be considered, Proposals must be received before the Closing Date and Time noted in the MERX ad through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission System. Refer to the Instructions to Proponents for all associated details.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established mandatory criteria in the RFPQ. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience as well as the Security Requirements which are both identified in the RFPQ documents.
This procurement is subject to:
- Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposals on the forms that are available through MERX or as directed in the procurement documents.
The Museum retains the right to negotiate with the Proponents on any aspect of the procurement.
Proposals may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
