The Museum is seeking Proposals from potential firms who technical experience in providing “Audience Research (front-end evaluation) for the In Their Own Voices Web Module” for the Canadian Museum of History and Canadian War Museum located respectively in Gatineau, Quebec and Ottawa. This is a one-step two-envelope submission process (Technical and Financial) to select the highest ranked Proponent who may then be invited to negotiate or to enter into a Contract with the Museum.
The selected Proponent will be required to deliver the Services described in the procurement documents including, but not limited to, the following services:

Moderate six 90-minute online workshops.
Develop a research plan in consultation with the Museum’s In their Own Voices (ITOV) team.
Develop the recruitment tools.
Develop the moderator’s discussion guide in consultation with the CWM ITOV team.
Translate the recruitment tools and moderator’s discussion guide (from English to French or from French to English).
Coordinate the logistics of the workshops on a suitable online platform.
Recruit and confirm participants that will represent our target audiences.
Ensure accessibility requirements are taken into consideration when recruiting for the various workshops.
Ensure diversity and inclusion requirements are taken into consideration when recruiting for the various workshops.
Recruit 10 participants for each group.
Analyze results.
Deliver a preliminary report summarizing workshop findings and recommendations. The report shall include comparison between all the workshops.
Deliver a final report following the Museum’s feedback.
Complete data collection for each target group in both official languages
Provide final data for all research audience for all workshops.

To be considered, Proposals must be received before the Closing Date and Time noted in the MERX ad through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission System. Refer to the Instructions to Proponents for all associated details.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFP. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise.

It is anticipated that the contract will be in place for a duration of three (3) months from the date of award. Refer to the procurement documents for further details.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposals on the forms that are available through MERX or as directed in the procurement documents.
The Museum retains the right to negotiate with the Proponents on any aspect of the procurement.
Proposals may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
Proponents can obtain the award result once posted on MERX.
