The intent of this Pre-Qualification Call is to develop a list of pre-qualified IT Consulting Firms
that will provide I.T. Contractors as opportunities present themselves over the “Validity Period for
Pre-Qualified Status” starting calendar year 2021 and ending 2024 which may be extended for
an additional two (2) one year terms up to 2026.
The categories we’ve defined for MRU are:
1. Applications
2. Infrastructure
3. Other
- Move adds changes, etc.
The positions in Appendix D Schedule 3 Rate Schedule and Position Description are meant as a
guide and further roles may be required and dependent on need.
MRU will then obtain resource C.V.’s from only these pre-qualified (“preferred”) firms on an as
required basis BUT post opportunities/competitions on www.merx.com.
From there, it will be MRU’s intent to determine the suitability of proponents on the basis
of the information provided in their pre-qualification response, and may pre-qualify up to
three (3) firms dependent on the above categories if necessary. In addition, MRU will prequalify
one (1) company per category that will handle its’ flow through requirements when and if
required.
As part of a change at MRU, we deeply believe in maximizing dollars spent, thus its’ prudent that
a “rebate” structure (dollars spent gives credit to purchase more services or acquire different
solutions) be implemented in the award of any party.
