The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Vendors to provide a OneCard integrated campus card solution and transaction control system that will allow Mount Royal University to consolidate various card services across the institution in order to streamline the campus experience for students and staff.
The system must operate online, in real time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week under normal operating conditions to ensure accurate cardholder and transaction data for effective system information management, reporting and auditing activities.
Mount Royal intends to select a Vendor that will provide solutions to meet the needs of this contract.
Proponent’s responses must demonstrate an understanding of the University’s environment. Qualified vendors should submit proposals for the implementation of both hardware and software that will coordinate resources from several different departments.
The components required include, but are not limited to the following; identification, facility and recreation access, library services, print management, parking, commerce transaction solution for retail operations and food services outlets (including off site vendors); meal plan program, event and activities coordination, vending and laundry system. The proposed solutions must co-exist with existing applications. If changes to the existing systems are required this work must form part of your proposal
