Mount Royal University complements its traditional security services with a monitored surveillance camera system. The current camera system is a compilation of several years of changing technology which have encumbered integrating fully functioning HD IP cameras. To-date the IP HD cameras have experienced multiple failures and provide very limited analytics.

The intent of this exercise is to enable Mount Royal to determine a short-list of pre-qualified Suppliers who specialize and possess considerable experience and qualifications in similar scope, size and value capable to supply, install and support a new security camera system. A Proposal Call will tentatively be issued by beginning of September 2016. The short-list will be comprised of only the highest scored Respondent utilizing the weighted criteria described within this RFPQ.

This plan calls for creation of a new security camera system which incorporates a new video monitoring system, software and hardware that will allow Security Services the ability to fully capitalize on the analytics within the camera.

Please note: This project will be split over four phases.
