Tri-Axle Truck Rental –Snow Removal Almonte Ward/Pakenham & Clayton Villages

Snow removal operations occur upon the discretion of the Operations Manager. A typical snow removal operation occurs for a 10 hour period (generally overnight) but depends on the circumstances and extends into the following morning.

The Municipality will also use rental trucks for the removal of snow from municipal parking lots and/or residential areas, if required, during normal working hours.

The Municipality will compensate Contractors with a minimum fee of three (3) hours rental upon getting called out and reporting to the job site. Start time is when the blower starts operating; travel time will not be compensated.

The priority call list is determined by the competitive process, with the low bidder, who satisfies all conditions, receiving the first call and the sequence of calls shall be determined by the ascending rental rates provided until The Municipality’s requirements are fulfilled. Quoted cost shall include the cost of equipment complete with operators.
