Description

The University of Winnipeg (hereinafter referred as the University of Winnipeg or the University) is issuing this RFP with the intent of entering into a contract for the Employee Group Benefits Plan. The contract will come into effect on or about January 1, 2023. The successful proponent will be expected to underwrite/administer the Employee Group Benefits Plan in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinafter described, and specifications provided. This RFP and the subsequent submission will be referenced and form part of the contract issued to the successful proponent.
Currently, the University of Winnipeg provides employees and their dependents a comprehensive Employee Group Benefits Plan. The University is conducting a market survey to test the competitiveness of underwriting basis, premium rates/expenses, contract provisions, service and reporting, and administration and billing under the Employee Group Benefits Plan
