Description

Pauingassi First Nation Chief and Council are calling for tenders for construction of a 2-cell aerated lagoon with SAGR. The Works generally includes:

Clearing and grubbing approximately 5.2 ha.
Muskeg stripping (borrow area) approximately 23,000 c.m.
Bedrock removal of approximately 39,800 c.m.
Bedrock crushing and placement of approximately 39,800 c.m.
Installation of approximately 640 m of perimeter chain link fence and gate.
Installation of approximately 16,750 sq.m. of 60mil HDPE liner (textured, 1 side) with air relief system and dewatering system.
Installation of approximately 1,850 sq.m. of 60mil HDPE liner (smooth).
Installation of liner cover and bedding approximately 9,000 c.m. (borrow sand).
Installation of OPTAER treatment system.
Installation of a dewatering system under the HDPE liner.
Installation of approximately 1,670 lin.m. of 200mm forcemain (pre-insulated and heat traced).
Upgrade existing lift station.
Construction of approximately 100 lin.m. of access road.
Decommissioning of existing SBR plant.
Fill lagoon and SAGR with lake water.
Emergency Power Generator.

Event Note

A visit to the Place of the Work is being arranged for all Bidders the week of November 20. It is strongly recommended that Bidders attend this visit. Two (2) planes will be chartered to take bidders to Little Grand Rapids. Site visit is expected to last four hours plus one (1) hour travel time. Helicopters will take bidders from Little Grand Rapids to the site. Additional planes and helicopters may be arranged if required. All participants will share in the cost of the Charter. Separate payments will be required for the plane and helicopter. Confirm attendance by noon on November 20. Lunch and drinks will be provided.
