Description

This Request for Quotations (the “Solicitation”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Minister of Consumer Protection and Government Services, to prospective Vendors to submit Submissions for the Supply and Delivery of Correctional Tableware, as further described in Section A of the Solicitation Particulars (Appendix A) and Scope of Deliverables (Appendix B).

Manitoba places a strong emphasis on safety, security, humanity, and are committed to reducing the environmental impact and enhancing cost-effectiveness in correctional tableware purchases.
Required high-security correctional tableware includes but not limited to stackable bowl, plate, mug, dinner knife, spork, tumbler (with or without lid), and eating utensil for an estimated quantity of total 440,000 pieces annually. In addition, Manitoba requires correctional tableware with advanced security features for high-security and suicide watch populations, with an estimated quantity of 13,500 pieces annually.
