Description

Assiniboine College is seeking subcontractors and suppliers to provide fixed bid pricing for all scopes of work for the renovation of the existing Industrial Metal Fabrications shop at the Len Evans Center for Trades and Technology into the new Mechatronics program at Assiniboine College’s North Hill Campus. Bids shall include all labour, material, and equipment as per the Project Drawings and related Specification Sections.
Assiniboine College will be utilizing its Campus Development department to act as construction manager and general contractor for this project.

A voluntary Bidders’ Conference is being held on February 4, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Len Evans Centre for Trades and Technology, 1035 1st St. N in Brandon, Mb, to provide bidders an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work area (location indicated in map below).
Failure to attend the site visit shall not indemnify the contractor from any additional costs arising from non-concealed and known conditions that are either visible or can be reasonably inferred from a site examination at the place of work.

Bids shall be accompanied by a detailed description of inclusions/exclusions in addition to a preliminary estimated duration required to complete the work.

• While Assiniboine College may allow for electronic bid submissions for this project, the Bidder acknowledges that electronic bid submissions are inherently unreliable. The Bidder bears all risks associated with submitting its Bid by electronic submission, including but not limited to delays in transmission between the Bidder’s computer and Assiniboine’s server.
