The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) requires a qualified and capable elevator maintenance service provider for preventative and emergency maintenance services while meeting our unique needs.
The CMHR is committed to providing an engaging and respectful environment that promotes a safe visitation experience through quality standards acceptable to its visitors, building occupants, and employees.
With guidance from the CMHR Facilities Team and routine management reviews, the CMHR will expect a high level of accountability through communication and reporting from the Contractor in delivering a proactive approach.
The incumbent will provide services and maintain all elevators in a proper and safe operating condition and will fully comply with applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal regulations and legislation, by-laws, laws building codes, fire codes, and the Elevator Act which includes CAN/CSA B44-07 Safety Code for Elevators, including supplement CSAB44a-08, and CSAB44b-09, including Appendix N and replacement or successor codes and any and all original equipment and/or specific manufacturer’s recommendations for the entire term of the agreement.
