SCOPE OF WORK
D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a) Alley Reconstruction
(i) Clarence Avenue/Boston Avenue Alley – The alley block bounded by Clarence Avenue, Boston Avenue, Hudson Street and Pembina Highway
(ii) Howard Avenue/Clarence Avenue Alley – The alley block bounded by Howard Avenue, Clarence Avenue, Hudson Street and Pembina Highway
(iii) Kylemore Avenue/Walker Avenue – The alley block bounded by Kylemore Avenue. Walker Avenue, Nassau Street South and Osborne Street
(iv) Walker Avenue /Rathgar Avenue – The alley block bounded by Walker Avenue, Rathgar Avenue, Nassau Street South and Osborne Street
D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Alley Reconstruction
(i) Removal of existing approaches
(ii) Excavation
(iii) Compaction of existing sub-grade
(iv) Placement of separation/reinforcement fabric and geogrid
(v) Placement and compaction of sub-base and base course materials
(vi) Construction of new concrete catch basin/manhole aprons and tees
(vii) Construction of 120mm asphalt pavement surface
(viii) Construction of existing approaches
(ix) Renewal of miscellaneous concrete slabs, curbs and sidewalks
(x) Removal of existing manholes, catchbasins and catchpits
(xi) Installation of new land drainage sewer
(xii) Installation of new manholes and/or catchbasins
(xiii) Installation of subdrains
(xiv) Adjust existing manhole and/or catchbasin frame and covers
(xv) Land drainage sewer excavations to be jetted, flooded and tamped
(xvi) Televise new land drainage sewer
(xvii) Final restorations
