Event Note

A mandatory site visit will be held on October 5thth, 2023 starting at 1pm in the afternoon. Qualifying contractors are required to pre-register in order to attend the walk through. Pre-registrations are to be sent to bgilmour@smseng.com (copy aschinkel@smseng.com). A maximum of 12 people on site and not more than 3 people per company will be permitted to attend the walk through. In the event the 1pm time slot exceeds capacity, a subsequent walk through will occur at 2pm and a final visit at 3pm as needed.

Additional Bidding Instructions

1. 1. Before submitting a Bid, Bidders shall carefully examine the drawings and specifications, and if they so decide attend the mandatory site visit. Bidders are solely responsible to fully inform themselves of all existing conditions and limitations.
  2. If the Bidder finds errors, discrepancies or omissions in the Tender Documents, or is unsure of the meaning or intent of any provision therein, the Bidder shall notify the Consultant of the error, discrepancy or omission, or request a clarification as to the meaning or intent of the provision at least five (5) Business Days prior to the Submission Deadline.
  3. Responses to enquiries which, in the sole judgment of the Consultant require a correction to or a clarification of the Tender Documents will be provided by the Consultant to all Bidders by issuing an addendum.
  4. Responses to enquiries which, in the sole judgment of the Consultant do not require a correction to or a clarification of the Tender Documents will be provided by the Consultant only to the Bidder who made the enquiry.
  5. The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any response or interpretation received pursuant to 1.6.4 unless that response or interpretation is provided by the Consultant in writing.
