Contract #2404 - Tender # 2404 - Load and Deposit of Aggregate - ERIKSDALE

The contractor must communicate with the checker and follow the checkers instruction. The municipality will grade the targeted roads ahead of the depositing, therefor the municipality will maintain control of which areas are worked first and in which order. The checker may request random scale weigh ins, to ensure that the loads are consistent with what is being recorded as hauled – this will be incidental to the price of “Hauling and Depositing Aggregate”. Truck drivers will be required to have their “haul record” slip signed off by the checker for each load hauled and deposited – loads that do not have appropriate checker confirmation will not be considered to be true quantities. In the case of a disagreement, the checkers records will be taken as true.
The successful bidder will be responsible for any and all damage done to private or public property as a result of the contractors (or sub-contractors) operations.
